This one-day event will showcase dancers from Australia, New Zealand and other countries in the Oceania region, in a glittering program of dance styles, including Ballroom, Latin and American Smooth.

About the Event
The Championship will be held at the International Convention Centre in Darling Harbour. The event is expected to attract not only competitive dancers, but also dance coaches, social dancers, and all-round dance enthusiasts.
The elimination rounds of the competition will be held during the day. Final rounds and prize presentations will be held during the evening as part of the inaugural Oceania Gala Ball.
The inaugural Oceania DanceSport Championship will re-establish Sydney as a national centre for competitive dancing.
